Follow along as we journey to build a brewery from the ground up
Our product line will be a diverse and changing portfolio of beers that reflect the constant change of seasons, agricultural availability of ingredients, and the whims of our brewer. Experimentation and a wide array of styles on tap at the brewery will be paramount to ensuring there is always something new and fresh for our customers to enjoy.
All of our beers will feature Maine grown and malted ingredients, including base and specialty malts from Blue Ox Malthouse and Maine Malthouse; raw and flaked grains from Maine Grains and Aurora Mills and Farm; as well as hops from The Hop Yard, Aroostook Hops, and other local growers.
who we are
CO-OWNER, HEAD BREWER
Michael is a graduate of the American Brewer's Guild and has been brewing for over 9 years. He spent a year as an assistant brewer at Firefly Hollow Brewing Company in Bristol, CT, where he learned the ins and outs of production brewing.
He also owns and runs a small manufacturing company that builds electric control panels and accessories for small scale brewing systems.
Michael will act as head brewer, in charge of recipe development as well as overseeing all brewing operations. You will also find him helping in the tasting room as well as delivering products throughout the area.
CO-OWNER, HEAD OF SALES, TAPROOM MANAGER
Heather grew up on a small farm in New England and spent her time studying horticulture and landscape management in college. She recently completed the Barth-Haas Hop Academy in Yakima, WA as part of a Pink Boots Society scholarship. Heather has held jobs in retail, restaurants, and direct sales.
She is the sole owner of Outland Farm, the other facet that runs harmoniously alongside the brewery. Heather has taken over management of the 5 acre pick-your-own orchard, raises over 500 pastured meat chickens, pastured eggs, and pastured pork each year.
Heather will manage the taproom as well as head up the sales and delivery of all the breweries products throughout the state.
The farm features a 5-acre holistic pick-your-own orchard with 15 varieties of apples, several varieties of pears, plums, peaches, nectarines and nuts.
We are open for pick-your-own with limited quantities available at market during harvest season.
We offer pasture raised, non GMO fed chicken and pork year round.
The farm also hosts a Community Garden that is open to new applicants each spring.
Private events and farm tours available by appointment.
